| The programme of study consolidates and enriches the linguistic knowledge acquired in secondary schools with new categories, notions and lexis characteristic for the specialty. By means of authentic course books the students gain in-depth knowledge in grammar, syntax, word formation, phraseology, and specialized terminology. Bulgarian language education builds up communicative
skills and competence allowing students to socialize and function effectively in real-life professional situations. They continue to develop the four language skills aiming at facilitating their adequate auditory and visual comprehension of information, offered in a foreign language, as well as their active ability to respond in keep with the stylistics and norms of multicultural communication.
