Description
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: At the end of the course the students are expected to be able to apply their knowledge in the analysis and processing of one and two dimensional discrete signals in frequency, time and spatial domain using digital linear, nonlinear and parametric systems.
DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE: The main topics concern: Basic concepts in theory of information, signals and systems; Mathematical description of signals in time domain; Spectrum analysis of continuous signals and systems; Correlation analysis description of digital signals and systems in frequency domain; Random signals; Noise; Noise filtering; Linear and non-linear filtration; Signal coding.
