Description
This module aims to equip students with knowledge of the formation, reserves, extraction, processing, and transport to markets of various fuel sources.

Coal: Coal (anthracite, coal, brown coal and peat), geology, exploration, extraction, processing, worldwide resources and reserves and transport to markets. Health, safety and environmental issues.

Oil and gas: Petroleum and gas, geology, exploration, extraction, processing, worldwide resources and reserves and transport to markets. Health, safety and environmental issues.

Nuclear: Nuclear, geology, exploration, extraction, processing, worldwide resources and reserves and transport to markets. Health, safety and environmental issues.

Alternatives: Emerging technologies, oil shales, coal gasification and as new technologies as they appear
