Description
Food safety professionals need to address all aspects of safety and quality of food formulations, having a deep knowledge of the legislation and its application in practical terms. This involves understanding how to apply risk assessment principles to food hazards with practical examples and how food safety is structured in Europe compared to other countries. 

This module also addresses food quality determination and control as an essential aspect for food companies and for international trade, where traceability systems and legislation play a key role. It will provide students with an overview of requirements for food production and exchange within the EU from scientific and legal points of vie
