Course program
  • Linear circuits in steady- state. 
  • Electrical quantities and circuit elements. 
  • Circuits of bipoles. 
  • Kirchhoff's laws. 
  • Equivalence between bipoles. 
  • Theorems: conservation of the electric powers, superposition of the effects, non-amplification of voltages (currents), Thévenin/Norton, maximum power transfer. *
  • Sine-wave mode circuits: phasor method, power, power factor correction. 
  • Three-phase symmetrical balanced and unbalanced systems, power measurements, 
  • First and second order dynamic circuits, free and forced evolution, transient and regime response, state variables continuity.
