• Circular economy processes for the collection and treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous waste: 
- Classification and characterisation 
- Quantitative parameters 
- Best available techniques for mechanical, physical, biological, and chemical and thermal treatment as well as treatment and their process combinations 
- Current new developments in treatment technologies to increase resource and energy efficiency, such as processes for the cascading use of organic residues in biorefineries, Power to Gas (PtG), Biomas to Liquid (BtL), Biodegradable Materials. 

• Excursions to treatment plants
