1) Basic concepts 
Introduction to digital systems based on microcontrollers and their applications
Basic concepts and architecture of the PIC16F8XX family microcontrollers
Microchip
Basic concepts of input/output of a computer
Basic concepts of interruptions in a computer
Basic concepts of analog to digital conversion
Basic concepts of communication buses.
Basic concepts and architecture of FPGA devices

2) Digital systems based on microcontroller
Development of digital systems based on a microcontroller of the PIC16F8XX family of
Microchip:
 - Basic concepts for programming.
 - Input/Output and peripherals.
 - Configuration and management of interruptions.
 - Interruptions associated with entry ports.
 - Timers and management of their interruptions.
 - A/D converter and management of its interruption.
 - Serial communication buses and management of their interruptions.

3) Digital systems with VHDL 
Design and verification of digital systems at the record transfer level using VHDL:
 - Basic concepts of VHDL for the synthesis of digital circuits.
 - Description of combinational components.
 - Description of sequential components.
 - Description of finite state machines.
 - Test and verification.
