Fluid Mechanics (Sem 3)

Description
Properties of liquids and gases, flow models, and basic principles of calculation of flow parameters. Fluid statics, kinematics, dynamics. Primary methods of laminar and turbulent flow calculation Principles of operation of fluid equipment, components, circuit design. Practical development of hydraulic equipment schemes and their components, analysis of their operating principles and peculiarities. Calculations of operating parameters of hydraulic equipment and principles of construction in stationary hydraulic equipment, selection of parts.

  • Ability to identify the basic concepts of surface and subsurface hydrology.
