An introduction to mobile robotics including underlying theory and applications. The module will have a large practical component.This module provides a broad introduction to the field of mobile robotics, from a software perspective. It covers the basics of mobile robot control, software architectures, sensors, navigation, and surveys common application areas. The practical aspects of the course will give students experience in developing real robotic systems.
