Elective 1: Operations Research Lab
FBW142

Description
  • Operations research models for integer and mixed-integer optimization for logistics application problems
  • Teaching the basics of modeling integer and mixed-integer linear optimization problems.
  • Conversion of verbal models from logistics applications into mathematical models of mixed-integer linear optimization; sensible use of binary and integer variables in the process
  • Laboratory practical course on the solution of integer and mixed-integer optimization problems
  • Introduction to the solution software: field of application, possibilities and limits
  • Learning the modeling language and the procedure for determining the solution (computer-based)
