AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The aim of the course "Artificial Intelligence" is for students to get a general idea of artificial intelligence systems, to study and to be able to apply the basic principles of using the theory and methods of artificial intelligence in building modern computer systems, as well as to gain practical skills in the research and construction of artificial intelligence systems.
DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE: The main topics concern: Fundamentals of artificial intelligence: History, essence, basic terms and concepts in AI. Working with data and working with knowledge. Engineering tasks solved by applying AI. Regression. Clustering. Knowledge Representation Models: Logical and Network Knowledge Representation Models. Production models. Frame models. Semantic networks. Fuzzy logic. Expert systems - architecture, stages and technologies for building expert systems. Machine learning. Neural Networks. Algorithms for training neural networks. Hopfield model. Kohonen's model. Recurrent neural networks. Deep network optimization., etc.
