Description
·       Provide a basic understanding of the theory of dynamic analysis of structures, as well as typical analytical and numerical methods for solving dynamic problems
·       Provide practical examples of applying dynamic analysis

Dynamic loading. Inertial forces. Single oscillator. Equation of motion. Oscillation period. stiffness of linear systems. Damping of oscillation. Free and forced oscillation of SDOF systems. Dynamic response to harmonic, periodic and random loading. Numerical methods for calculating the dynamic response.
Seismic  response. Response spectrum. Free oscillation of MDOF systems. Oscillations' frequency and mode shapes. Mass and stiffness matrix. Forced oscillation of MDOF system. Spectral  analysis.
