Basic Course of Geotechnics

Description
The study course includes the most important physical properties and classification parameters of different soils. The study course deals with soil deformation and strength properties, laboratory testing methods, stress distribution in the soil massif at different loads, principles and methods of soil foundation deformation calculation, basic principles of soil and building foundation design, technical and economic parameters of foundation type selection, shallow foundation and foundation calculation principles for deformations and load-bearing capacity, pile and deep foundation calculation methods

  • Ability to identify geology and terrain morphology and their application in engineering related problems as well as climatology.
