In order to promote cooperation between the architects and electrical engineers this course, based on practical examples, covers basic laws of electrical circuits and the main elements of the building electrical system. Theoretical issues included in this course contribute to the understanding of the architect's role in design of modern power supply and improvement of electrical safety of the building. Such topics as lighting and its control are studied more thoroughly including traditional installation switches and basic principles of smart home. Work in laboratory provides ability to recognize elements of the electric circuit both symbols and real equipment.
