AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: The course aims to give to the students necessary scientific knowledge, which is the foundation on which is built a number of other general technical and special disciplines. Furthermore, Mechanics II assists in building engineering approach and habits to solve various technical problems.

Dynamics of the simple motions of a rigid body. Translation and rotation of a rigid body. Dynamics of the plane motion of a rigid body. D'Alembert's principle.
