Description
Course Program

  • Landslide risk: classification of landslide movements, slope monitoring, stability analysis, risk mitigation interventions. 
  • Borrow pits: excavation methods and environmental remediation techniques. 
  • Earth constructions and recycling of excavated earth/rock: earth movements, compaction and stabilization techniques, use of geosynthetics. 
  • Methods for confining solid waste landfills and contaminated sites.
