Course Purpose and Objectives

Electromagnetism is a four hour per week course designed to give an understanding of the many facets of electromagnetism.

Prerequisites

EEN_105 Physics II

Course Content

Vector analysis, Electric charges, Electric field intensity, Potential, Dielectrics, Capacitance, Poisson’s and Laplace's equations, Steady magnetic fields, Forces in steady magnetic fields, Magnetic circuits, Time - varying fields and Maxwell's Equations, Plane waves.
