Electrical Circuits Analysis II
EEN 112

Description
The course material aims at the understanding and consolidation of concepts related to transient phenomena and circuits, including RC, RL, RLC circuits, as well as of the methods for their analysis.

The course is based on the basic concepts of circuit elements of simple linear circuits and the methods for their analysis offered in the prerequisite course. The following topics are covered:

1. Laplace transformation, transfer functions
2. First and second-order circuits (RL, RC, and RLC) and analysis in the time domain
3. Circuit analysis - complex frequency domain
4. Oscillators and tuned circuits
5. Time response of circuits
6. Transient phenomena
7. Two-port elements and dependent sources
8. Operational amplifiers
