The course aims to provide the methodological foundations for the design and construction of industrial plants, in their broadest sense of integrated systems, dealing with the technical and economic problems with the necessary implications relating to full operation. At the end of the course the students will be able to: - carry out a feasibility study of an industrial plant; - use techniques for planning and controlling project activities; - optimize the use of usable resources in a production system; - choose the optimal layout of an industrial plant.
