The course develops and deepens the principles of measurement science in its methodological and applicative aspects. In particular, it provides students with the knowledge necessary for the correct interpretation of measurement results and for understanding the functioning of a generic measurement chain. Finally, the operating principles and methods of use of the main instruments for measuring electrical, mechanical and thermal quantities are presented.
