Description
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE: At the end of the course the students are expected to know fundamental concepts, approaches and principals of management. The must understand the essence and should be able to apply main managerial functions. Further, they should develop skills to apply various methods, instruments and techniques for management.
DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE: The main topics concern: Types of organizations – taxonomy. Internal and external environment of industrial enterprises. Managerial theories. Fundamental principals of management. Main management approaches. Decision making. Main managerial functions – essence, meaning and role. Planning. Organising. Directing and Leadership. Controlling. Coordination. Communications in management. Functional management: Marketing, Innovation Management, and others.
