Fluid mechanics

Description
Objectives:
- To study the properties of fluids.
- To analyze and quantify their influences on mechanical systems.

Program:

  • Understand the properties of fluids
  • Know how to perform fluid equilibrium in the case of hydrostatics
  • Implement fluid kinetics (Eulerian/Lagrangian, streamlines and streamtubes)
  • Know how to calculate flows in perfect (non-viscous) fluids
  • Know how to calculate flows in viscous fluids
