Economics for Engineers

Description
Engineering economics provides a systematic framework for evaluating the economic aspects of competing solutions. After providing an introduction to engineering economics, this module will focus on the following topics: the time value of money, methods to compare and select among alternatives (e.g., net present value, payback period, internal rate of return), inflation, cost-benefit analysis, and principles of a circular economy.
