Arts and Architecture
66.10

Description
The course proposes to familiarize with contemporary and contemporary art concepts and personalities selected from the perspective of a significant relationship to the problems of architecture. Without a strictly chronological thread, the course highlights the confluences, both spatially and materially, and conceptually, of the current themes of architectural creation and modern and contemporary artistic creation. The aim is to stimulate the formation of a critical view that will allow the future architect to participate in an informed, responsible and relevant way in the contemporary public sphere, including by collaborating with artists. The case studies discussed highlight the location of architecture in the cultural complex of the present, aiming at sensitizing the students to the other forms of artistic expression.
