Description
The course aims to give knowledge and understanding of specific concepts, theories and basic methods in contemporary urban planning and their appropriate use in professional communication. Understanding the way of conceiving the contemporary urban space - as a space of a community with specific identity, the result of a historical becoming. Understands how specific historical, geographical, economic, social, and cultural aspects influence the genesis and evolution of the contemporary city, to analyse the elements specific to the existing urban framework and to carry out sequential analysis studies of a street (recognizing the specific human perception of urban space on the pedestrian scale) in the global context of the city.
