Introduction to mechanical systems design
TN12

Description
Based on specifications, the design of mechanical systems is a complex process aimed at producing all the information needed to fully describe and manufacture the system. At the end of this course, students will be able to carry out this process on a simple example by putting it into practice on a project.

Program:
-analyse customer requirements and specify the technical functions of a product, taking into account regulatory constraints (environment, safety, etc.)
-identify the relevant technologies to satisfy the technical functions
-be able to choose and size basic technological components (to transmit power and/or guide movement, etc.)
-propose dimensional and geometric dimensioning elements to help with the choice of manufacturing processes.
-Produce all the necessary documents (CAD, calculation instructions) in a collaborative working environment.
