In order to successfully complete the subject Industrial Design I, students should be able to:
1. Apply the standards to engineering drawings both for the interpretation of other people's engineering drawings and for the correct elaboration of their own.
2. Recognise the different types of engineering drawings.
3. Apply and recognise the symbolic representations of design and manufacturing information commonly used in engineering drawings.
4. Demonstrate skills in drafting with classical and freehand instruments.
5. Demonstrate design skills in the use of CAD systems.
6. Assess the information provided and discard that which is not useful to solve a given situation or problem.
