MATHEMATICS II
508101011

Description
At the end of Mathematics II, students should be able to:
R1. Know the calculus of functions of several variables and apply the knowledge acquired to problem solving.
R2. Solve simple integrals. Interpret the concept of Riemann integral. Pose, formulate and interpret problems using integrals. Interpret the change of variable. Apply the results to problem solving.
R3. Know how to calculate integrals of scalar fields over elementary enclosures in the plane and space using Fubini's theorem and know the physical meaning of this operation (calculation of areas and volumes, determination of masses, determination of moments of inertia, etc.). Know the hypotheses of the change of variable theorem for integrals and know how to apply it in practical cases.
R4. Solve differential equations. Apply the calculation of differential equations to problem solving.
R5. Handle the scientific software Maxima to solve numerical and symbolic calculation problems associated with the contents of the subjects.
