Description
1. Building rehabilitation introduction, causes, methods and structural rehabilitation stages. Case studies. Causes of degradation of the structures of masonry and stone. Materials and techniques for the consolidation and conservation of masonry and stone structures. 
2. Causes of degradation of concrete structures. Materials and techniques for the consolidation and conservation of concrete structures. Systems and equipment for diagnosing structures. 
3. Materials used to repair, restore, waterproof new and old concrete structures. Concrete cracks: causes, types, rehabilitation technologies, materials used for crack injection. 
4. Composite and associated materials: History, definition, structure, classification, advantages, disadvantages, areas of use. Composite materials used to repair and rehabilitate structures. 
5. Composites reinforced with fiber - concrete: history, types of fibers, reinforced concrete with glass fibers, steel fibers, carbon, polymers. The mechanical characteristics of composite materials: micromechanics, macromechanics, physical-mechanical characteristics. 
6. High performance concrete. Ultra high performance concrete. 
7. Special mortars for the rehabilitation of the structures made of masonry, stone and concrete.
