The course aims to ensure the knowledge needed to identify load bearing structures in historical buildings, the study of resistance and stability, but also of preserving heritage value, to gain knowledge of the main tools for investigating monuments and the specific role of the architect in their use, to get knowledge of the construction of bearing structures in historical buildings, to present materials used in historical structures and technologies for building historical structures. Types of interventions for monuments, historical buildings and to get knowledge of the protection of historical monuments in Romania and internationally.
