Introduction to computer-aided design (EN)
TN14A

Description
Objectives
-Use two 3D modelling applications
-use volume modelling methods
-understand the role of CAD
-understand design intentions and propose associated modelling approaches

Program:
Handling CAD applications:
-create correctly constrained sketches
-use the geometry creation functions
-use transformation operations
-organise a modelling approach
Use CAD to promote digital continuity:
-use functions adapted to manufacturing processes
re-use information to model a part
-model the geometry of each manufacturing stage, ensuring that the models obtained are associative
Use modelling methods:
-model an assembly
-use assembly constraints
-take assembly processes into account
-use user parameters
Propose model specifications:
-assess the quality of a model
-set hypotheses for modifications
-use standards
-present a modelling strategy
